Background
When your client base is local to a specific region, your website also needs to be in the zone.
Faubourg Private Wealth approached us with a strong sense of identity grounded in the Gulf South: warmth, community, multigenerational connection, and an approach that feels down-to-earth rather than stuffy. Their existing site, however, didn’t communicate these qualities. It felt overly jargony, text-heavy, impersonal, and lacked a clear sense of who the firm serves and how they show up for their clients.
With a solid presence in the New Orleans area, Faubourg wanted a website that felt authentically regional yet professional enough to stand alongside national RIA competitors. Their goal was to welcome individuals, families, and business owners into a brand experience that reflected the lifestyle, values, and rhythm of the region they serve.

The Objective
Deliver a compelling website that captures the essence of the Gulf South
The goal was to create an online presence that immediately feels personal, welcoming, and grounded in the culture of the region, while upholding the professionalism and clarity expected of a modern wealth advisory firm.
Faubourg was especially focused on helping prospective clients “see themselves” on the site, avoiding the jargon and self-promotion that often dominate financial services. Their priority was clarity, simplicity, and an experience that feels purpose-driven rather than transactional.

Design Solution
A design grounded in place and people, built for clarity and connection
The visual strategy for the website leverages rich, warm imagery that highlights the Gulf South lifestyle—neighborhood streets, waterway views, and relaxed yet purposeful family moments—supporting Faubourg’s identity as local, multigenerational, and deeply connected to community. To make the digital experience intuitive, we simplified the navigation, avoiding product-driven service pages in lieu of an architecture that guides users by life context: Individuals, Families, Business Owners. This aligns with how prospective clients self-identify and what they are seeking.

Challenges & Accommodations
Communicating regional identity without slipping into cliché or sacrificing professionalism.
Our biggest challenge was bridging the gap between two brand requirements: expressing the Gulf South spirit through imagery and tone, while maintaining a polished, highly professional presence that instills confidence in individuals who seek guidance but don’t necessarily understand the industry. Our chosen design elements, coupled with a reimagined site architecture, now serve to honor the firm’s regional soul while delivering clarity, transparency, and ease.

Outcomes
Faubourg now has a website that beautifully captures its values: local roots, competence, and a sense of belonging.
The visual experience strengthens emotional connection; through images, tone, and service framing, prospective clients feel seen as people with goals, not just accounts. The experience is warm and welcoming, but never casual—it conveys trust and professionalism.
By reorganizing content around how clients think (rather than what the firm sells), the site reduces friction and helps visitors quickly find the most relevant information for their stage of life. This clarity supports Faubourg’s goal: to make financial planning and investment feel accessible, not intimidating.
