It’s Women’s History Month, and CWP Design has not one, but two reasons to celebrate!
- CWP was recently named among the winners of the 2024 REBRAND 100 Global Awards! We were recognized for our branding and web work on the storied Guild House Hotel. This was the ultimate rebrand involving a national historic landmark originally known as the New Century Guild, which was a women’s support organization founded in the 1880s to meet the needs of working women. The idea was to rebrand it into a sophisticated hotel that preserved the historical significance of its roots. Each room honors a different trailblazing woman of the Guild, striking a fine balance between historic character and modern luxury.
- Speaking of women trailblazers… Last week we achieved a new milestone in our company history, receiving official WBENC Certification as a woman-owned business. News flash: CWP has always been owned and led by founder Corey Pontz; however, certification granted by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council represents the gold standard for women business owners in the U.S. We are thrilled to be validated by this nationwide standard, and to gain access to the programming, visibility, and support offered through WBENC.
To be able to share these moments during Women’s History Month feels serendipitous, and what gives us goosebumps is how intertwined these accomplishments are…. the 19th-century women of the New Century Guild paved the way for us to be here, as a recognized women-led team, reimagining brands and elevating stories.
